Dr. Klatt grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at North Carolina State University in 1986. She then pursued her passion and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at NCSU in 1991. Dr. Klatt has been in the triad since then.
She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with special interest in internal medicine and soft-tissue surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening and antiquing. Most recently she has taken up the game of golf and watercolor painting as well as paddle-boarding.
Dr. Klatt has an "ark" of animals including: 3 dogs, 3 cats and 1 horse and one chicken most of which are rescues. They require her time, as well as tending to the health issues which require full attention.
